J-Connect Mentoring Program
J-Connect provides mentors for Fairfield County youth ages 12-18 who need support and guidance to avoid at-risk behaviors. Referrals are received by the Bridgeport & Stamford Juvenile Courts as well as through the Bridgeport Juvenile Review Board. Mentors are screened, trained and receive match support by Family ReEntry SM staff.

Transitions Mentoring Program for Youthful Offenders
This program provides mentors and life skills training for youth ages 16 to 22 who are serving prison sentences in Manson Youth Institute in Cheshire and York Correctional Institution in Niantic. Mentors ages 18 and older are asked to provide one hour per week for in-prison visits for 8 months to 1 year. Mentors and the incarcerated youth are screened, approved and trained by Family ReEntry and the Connecticut Department of Correction.
